L'Horizon exclusive for Macmillan

L'Horizon exclusive for Macmillan

L’Horizon Hotel kick-started the New Year by taking bold and proactive measures to liven up the corporate and functions markets in Jersey in 2010.  To achieve this, as well as a gesture of ongoing commitment toward Macmillan Cancer Support (Jersey) - formerly Cancerbackup Jersey - the hotel generously donated the entire use of the hotel and its facilities to the charity and its guests at the end of January.

Guests at the New Year celebration enjoyed an overnight stay in one of the hotel’s luxurious bedrooms, a gala black tie dinner including half a bottle of wine per person, exclusive use of the hotel’s facilities and swimming pool, evening entertainment, a raffle, and a hearty full English breakfast; all in the exclusive surroundings of the hotel.

New Flavour for Sumas

New Flavour for Sumas

One of Jersey’s premier restaurants has re-opened its doors following an exciting makeover in decor, menu and service.

The owners of Suma’s say there’s been a significant shift in the way people dine out in the current economic climate, and what they expect from leading eateries.  Brother and sister team Malcolm Lewis and Sue Bults have been at the head of their game for more than ten years, but they say the challenge is to stay at the top and that means being in tune with what customers really want.

The investment in the restaurant has gone much further than a refurbishment.  Considerable time has been spent on re-training staff and examining the menu to make sure Suma’s continues to deliver the quality service, value and product for which the restaurant is renowned.

To find out more, read the attached press release and view interview footage of owner Malcolm Lewis and Chef Daniel Ward.  These clips are available for media use, free of charge.  Give us a call to find out more.
