Longueville Time Capsule
Published: 19 Mar 2010
Orchid was proud to be a part of a special ceremony at Longueville Manor this week to commemorate the hotel's 60th anniversary. Staff, friends, family and pupils of St Saviour's School witnessed a time capsule being buried in the grounds of the hotel. The time capsule, which contains a selection of memorabilia that reflects Longueville Manor's unique heritage from the last sixty years, is a joint initiative between the hotel and the Year Two pupils from St Saviour's School as part of their ongoing relationship.
Amongst the items included from the hotel was a personalised video message from owner, Malcolm Lewis, reflecting his personal memories of the hotel (which has been in his family since it opened sixty years ago), the many successes and challenges along the way and his hopes for Longueville Manor's future.
